Tesco Mobile adding free Apple iPhones and AirPods into some customers' online shopping

Some lucky Tesco customers could find themselves getting a free tech treat inside their shopping this week. The supermarket giant is launching a new ‘Super Subs’ promotion later today which will swap items inside some online baskets for products including the very latest iPhone 12 mini, popular AirPods wireless earbuds or Samsung's new Galaxy S21 smartphone.
For example, if you pop some Tesco laundry tablets in your trolley Tesco could swap it at the checkout for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 which features a stunning 11-inch screen and digital stylus allowing you to draw and write without using your finger.
Add some Cotton Buds and you might find it's turned into a pair of Samsung's new Galaxy Buds Live or Frozen cod will be switched for the popular Apple Airpods - both of these gadgets offer a wireless music experience straight from your phone.
Samsung's Galaxy Fit 2, Galaxy Watch 3 and Nokia's 3.4 smartphone are also up for grabs.
This offer is in partnership with Tesco Mobile and is available when shoppers use the firm's Click+Collect service from participating stores.
"From today until 18 April, Tesco Mobile is raiding the nation’s shopping bags to make unbelievable substitutes in lucky Tesco.com Click+Collect orders," the supermarket said.
"Tesco Mobile’s ‘Super Subs’ has been created to show how amazing things can happen when the worlds of supermarket and mobile come together - all while putting a smile on shopper’s faces."
